Seshagiri Meka
Seshagiri Meka is a seasoned business leader with over 35 years of expertise in business strategy, renewable energy project development, capital equipment sales, and industrial manufacturing. As the Founder of Winsol Green Solutions, he specializes in Renewable Energy Portfolio Development for Commercial & Industrial Consumers, having played a pivotal role in developing over 150MW of solar power projects across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh. Additionally, he has spearheaded the development of 400MW open access projects, spanning intra-state and inter-state developments in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan.
With a deep understanding of India’s renewable energy policies, market dynamics, and key stakeholders, Seshagiri has held senior leadership positions at Tata Power Solar, Oerlikon Solar Switzerland, Vestas Wind Systems, NEG Micon, and ITW India. His expertise covers solar photovoltaics (PV), wind energy, and non-destructive engineering, making him a key influencing individual in the sector.
He has been an active voice in shaping industry standards, having served as a PV Advisory Committee Member for SEMI (Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International) India, as well as a past member of the Indian Wind Power Association and the Indian Society of Non-Destructive Testing (ISNT).
Seshagiri holds a Mechanical Engineering degree and an MBA, combining technical acumen with business leadership to drive sustainable energy solutions.
